to Benefit Girls Sports

The Dick Morris Memorial Foundation hosts a summer golf tournament at Alta Vista Country Club to raise funds to support safe and accessible competition between girls of all sports. Proceeds from the event will be allocated to local Southern California girls sports teams to provide uniforms, equipment, tournament fees, travel, lodging and more.
All registrations, donations and sponsors will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Established in 1961, Alta Vista Country Club is a private, classic 18 hole, par 72 championship golf club. Centrally located in Northern Orange County, Alta Vista measures more than 6,500 yards of beautifully manicured fairways and greens - with six sets of tees to meet every golfer's needs.
The course is built over a naturally rolling terrain and features 89 sand bunkers, majestic pines, and lakes that come into play on several holes.

About Dick Morris
Corona Del Mar Teacher, Coach, Football and Wrestling Official
Dick Morris taught and coached for 38 years and influenced countless student’s lives. Dick coached football for 32 years, wrestling for 16 years, and numerous other sports such as baseball, badminton, softball, track and field and finally (in his words) the most fun – SURFING!
His biggest achievement and what he is best known for is his 45+ years as a high school and college Wrestling Official. In 2004 he was presented with the Golden Whistle Award recognizing him as the best Wrestling Official in the State of California. In 2005 he was inducted into the California State Wrestling Hall of Fame, and in 2010 he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame for his Lifetime Service to the Sport of Wrestling.
Joseph Richard Morris, The Big Kahuna, passed away at age 83 in Costa Mesa CA on September 9, 2020.
